About Lika Behar
Every Lika Behar piece is handmade in the designer's own studio in Istanbul, so no two are identical. The collection pairs 24K and 22K gold in its natural textured, matte state with oxidized or matte sterling silver; on two-tone pieces the gold is fused to the silver in a layer many times thicker than gold plating. All gemstones are genuine and responsibly sourced, with any treatments disclosed.
Pieces are made to order — typical turnaround is 3 to 5 weeks. Custom sizing, metal and stone changes are available on request.
Care
Wipe with a soft cloth; clean with warm water and diluted mild soap only when needed. Do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Avoid hand sanitizer, alcohol and chlorine, which fade the oxidized finish and can harm stones. The dark patina on oxidized silver softens with wear and can be re-oxidized.
