About Us
“At age five, I remember selling my first artwork.  I tore out my brightly hued coloring book pages and sold
them for pennies at my parents’ garage sale to neighbors who thought it was cute.  My interest in art had
always been strong and became a fun hobby throughout the years which I tried to maintain.  Though I had
never thought seriously about becoming a full-time artist, I eventually found myself eager to test the waters.

“Somehow I stumbled into the banking industry during college.  Banking was secure, had great benefits
and could pay the bills, I was satisfied that I had found a “good job”.  Though, after a few long years in
finance I felt my creative side just begging to be fulfilled.  I could no longer deny the feeling and eventually
started to call in sick just to stay home and paint.  During these experimenting sessions, I had discovered
that I loved painting, and it soon became part of my everyday life.  I would work on pieces till early morning
hours and had long creation sessions which consumed my weekends and took precedence over social
activities.

“I was completely obsessed with my rediscovered passion, my walls started to become crowded with my
artwork and I suddenly realized that I was ready to take some risks for what I was passionate about.  In
2001 I reached my breaking point and quit my job at the bank.  I promised my self that I would put all my
efforts into marketing my artwork and never look back.

“I start each painting with enthusiasm accompanied by the thrill of expected results.  When applying
multiple layers of texture and color to my canvases, each piece takes on a unique personality.  Will this one
be vivid and outspoken or serene and subtle?  I don’t always have to make those decisions, they
sometimes decide on their own.  No matter what originality comes through on the surface, the underlying
thread is an uplifting visual experience.  When viewers observe my paintings, I hope to evoke the most
positive emotions, the kind they want to experience over and over again in their own living spaces.

“Many people ask me what inspires me in creating my abstract work, and I find myself gravitating towards
interior decorating and fashion trends.  I love testing unique color combinations and different texture
mediums just as designers do in their work.  I try to stay informed of up and coming styles and trends in all
areas of design.  My passion is the act of creating and being able to continually learn and evolve.  I am living
out my passion every day in my studio and sharing it with others brings me great joy.”
