I am driven by art and design, my love and appreciation for them is
strong and constantly on my mind. I will be in the middle of a
conversation and my thoughts will wander off and visualize new
color combinations or what my next painting might look like. I walk
into someone’s house and imagine furniture rearranged or walls
painted different colors. My mind loves to explore this way, and is
the first step in creating my artwork. It’s hard to say what
specifically inspires me in my work. I do enjoy imagining what my
dream house would be like, and then pretend I am painting for
those rooms.

I am a third generation artist born and raised in Arizona. I work out of my home studio with my Boston
Terrier right by my feet. There are also two men in my life who help keep life balanced, my supportive
husband and my 3 yr old son. I have a tendency to get lost in my work, so without them I would
probably be a crazy artist woman that never leaves my studio. My art career started in 2001 when I
promised myself that I would put all my efforts into creating and marketing my artwork and never look
back. Nearly ten years later, I am still living my dream as a professional artist doing what I love every
day. I couldn’t have achieved this without all of my collectors, fans and friends who have supported
me along the way. For that I am very thankful.
My medium of choice is acrylic paint on canvas. I also like to experiment with different texture
mediums to add dimension to the canvas. Every painting has a life of its own, I don’t always know
exactly how each painting will turn out, but they always have a way of telling me which direction to go
and when they are complete. Every painting is unique and one of a kind, they are each a small
expression of me. Creating art enriches my life and it's a pleasure to share it with you.
