D'Amore grew up on the east coast, and has always been influenced by the styles of New York City. She has
a degree in sculpture and has studied many art forms including painting, drawing, multimedia, film, and
performance. With a strong background in sculpture, she loves exploring textures and the color palettes that
complement them. Some of the artists that have influenced D'Amore include Eva Hesse, Kiki Smith, Jasper
Johns, Pop artists, the Bay Area Painters, and Leonardo Da Vinci.
Her passion for traveling and experiencing other cultures has led her to spend much time studying and
backpacking abroad. Some favorite traveling moments include drawing a Tuscan hillside from the Piazza
Michelangelo in Florence, and attending the Venice Biennale. Above all, she values the people she meets
from various cultures and backgrounds, and the passions and stories they share. She intends to continue
to travel around the world, and is excited about how that will influence her work.
